Our community music therapy service provides a platform for building connections, fostering creative expression, developmental skills, and promoting a supportive environment. Participants may enrol in groups according to age: infant or toddler with a parent, preschooler, school-ager, youth, adult, and senior. Community music therapy may take place in a community centre, private school, group home, long term care home or retirement home.
Some of the populations we provide service to include:
children developing social skills such as emotion regulation and interpersonal communication
children or adults with neurological disorders or developmental delays
adults experiencing housing insecurity and substance use
adults or seniors living with dementia, experiencing isolation, depression or anxiety, and feelings of loss
